Let’s build a city where everyone can afford to live

Louisville is at a crossroads

Rapidly rising home prices are hurting our city.

Enrollment in our schools is falling, with families and teachers unable to afford a home. Seniors have few options to downsize. Our kids have to move away for a place of their own.

Only the wealthy can afford to move in, while the people who make Louisville great are priced out — artists, scientists, teachers, public workers, and so many more.

If we don’t build a more affordable city, we will lose our diversity and our character. We can’t afford to stand still.
